What's On Your Workdesk ...

I've been absent from this fun blog-hopping activity for a while and it feels good to be back in blog-land and visiting all these fantabulous artists all over the world ... courtesy of our hostess Julia at The Stamping Ground.

So, what's actually on my workdesk today ...

... I've been getting into journalling in the past few months and have started filling out pages of an old sketchbook with all manner of paintey-ness.  These pages are a 'work in progress' so hopefully I'll be able to share the final results with you soon.  You'll also notice some letters peeping out ... I've also been dabbling with alphabet-designs and have been having lots of fun with some Sharpies - particularly those metallics!  Anyone know where to get a white one?  There's also some Dylusions inks (great colours and great fun) as well as some Jo Sonja Clear Glaze Medium which is a light sealer that I use to protect the page when I've finished.  Oh and I suppose the eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed the Percy Pigs ... my guilty pleasure ... ; )

How lovely to see some sunshine through the skylight ... Spring is coming ... woohoo!!!!

Thanks for visiting and Happy Woyww ...

    1. Ha ha! Percy Pigs are a very popular sweet made by the gods of food halls "Marks & Spencer". They are a very yummy, gooey, strawberry, jelly kind of mix and are highly addictive! They are now soooo popular that you can now get variations such as Percy Piglets, Percy & Pals, Percy Noses etc etc. Perhaps I could do a 'prize draw' for all the non-UK Woywwers so they can partake in such yumminess ; )

  7. Hi Liz, I'm just getting in to art journaling - not being "arty" this is quite a challenge, so I am enjoying looking at other artists work and dreaming arty painty dreams. I don't know where you can source white Sharpies but UNI POSCA paint markers come in white in various nib sizes and are supposed to write on almost anything, you can get them easily in art shops or Hobbycraft. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. MM x #97 p.s. off to become a follower to enjoy more of you AJ journey.

  10. Hi Liz,

Metallic sharpies?!? I'm soooo behind. For a white pen can you use liquid white out that comes in a pen?

What you're doing with your journal looks great, by the way.
Thanks for visiting me already. I'm soooo slooow this week!
