WOYWW 151

Ooops!  Very late this week, I seemed to have lost a day somewhere!!  So apologies to Julia over at The Stamping Ground http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk for my lateness and I look forward to catching up with lots of lovely crafty desks over the next few days.  Oh and huge hellos and thanks to everyone who has taken the time to pop in and say hello.

So, the reason for my tardiness ... 'THE' toybox!  At last it is finished ... hooray!!  As some of you WOYWW-ers have asked to see final pics, here they are ...

The three characters are mouldings on the box, the clown had fallen off so needed re-sticking, but meant he was easier to paint beforehand!  I had to do a bit of repair work with the tie and some of the balancing balls and juggling balls and made new ones out of Milliput!

So not much else to report this week!  I've put some new bits and pieces in the Shop, but will tell you about that another day.

Thanks so much for visiting my desk and ... happy painting ...

Liz

  23. We had toy boxes about this size when we were kids...houses were smaller and we had to keep things tidy or cripple ourselves falling on our 'important stuff' but, they were nowhere as nice .... ... wow....

  27. This is a beautiful box! I've loved reading your posts and seeing your beautiful mixed media art work. Your garden signs really warmed my heart. I love my garden and have a slate sign hung from rope that says "Welcome to my garden" on it, and every time I see it hanging on the gate I say "thank you" as if someone has invited me in, it makes me smile every time!
