WOYWW 213

Happy Wednesday :)

What a week!  All sorts of stuff going on ... some good, some not so good, but trying to focus on the good and keeping positive :D

The BEST news is from my earlier post ... Tim Holtz is coming to the UK and I'm gonna be there .... woohoooo!  I'm not sure I can keep my excitement under control until then ;) but I will try ... *sigh*

So back to the matter in hand ...

... here is my desk today!  It looks reasonably tidy, but don't be fooled, it's just lots of stuff in tidy piles! I'm very good at that ;)  So, working left to right ...

  • pile of half-finished canvases and calendar pages (and book box and door hanger too!)
  • pile of paper mache houses ... waiting for inspiration
  • Percy Pigs ... say no more!  Helps with the inspiration don't you know ;)
  • June Craft Stamper magazine which I found and realised I hadn't got around to reading
  • pile of sample boards for a workshop I'm running on Saturday on faux finishes
  • mini journal book ... open and waiting ...
Ho hum, there's lots of stuff half-done and waiting .... better get eating those Percy Pigs.... lol!

Pop over to the marvellous Julia for info on what this is all about and have a fabulous time desk-hopping all around the world ... awesome people and awesome fun!

Until next time ...

Liz

  3. Happy WOYWW. Lots of lovely stuff waiting for you in piles. Percy Pigs are a bit addictive and I tend to eat the whole bag, so avoid that part of M&S now! Ali x #33 ps Congrats on getting to see TH

  4. Would you think me incredibly odd if I said I have never had Percy Pigs?
They seem to go hand in hand with crafters - maybe I should try some...

  5. Hi Liz, I'm a big fan of the tidy pile myself, the problem is that some of my piles are looking a bit Pisa-esque. You've got some fab looking projects and those little mache houses look like a lot of fun. Have a great week. MMx #47

  6. Yes, making piles, I do that and I make the piles grow ... until I disassemble them again, sometimes just to make other piles =).
Happy WOYWW and I wish you a lovely week.

  13. Hi, Liz, your desk is definitely full of interesting tidy piles. :-) The little houses could be cute for something Christmassy -- decorated and adhered to a piece of wood to make a mantel decoration? Have a blast at Tim's workshop and tell us all about it!!! ~ Laura #105

  20. hehehe I have those piles too - I call them "piles of potential"!
Love the sample boards and the cute little houses - they make me think of those little blue and white ceramic ones - are they called Delftware?

Very VERY jealous that you will get to see Tim Holtz - I read about that but we'll be away and I think my DH might not understand if I suggested cancelling our holiday! Enjoy!

Congrats on getting a place of the Tim Holtz course. I was lucky enough to go on one a couple of years ago and met some fabulous likeminded people. I look forward to seeing what you make.
